Carmatech SAR-12 BASIC Paintball Sniper Rifle (Gen. 4)

The Carmatech SAR-12 Gen. 4 (latest model) is a paintball sniper rifle that was specially developed to meet the needs of scenario paintball players who, on the one hand, like it to be very realistic and, on the other hand, like to shoot at long distances with First Strike paintballs.

The 4th generation features a few significant changes. Each SAR-12 of the 4th generation has the new, significantly steeper rubber grip. This new grip should ensure better handling of the marker and be equally comfortable in the lying and standing position.

In addition, the Gen. 4 SAR-12 rifles have the new 21-round BlackJack TrueFeed Magazine as standard. So you now have a total of 21 shots to fire in a row. - The old magazines only had 2x 6 shots in the chambers.

The new SAR-12 has also changed a bit visually. The characteristic front shroud is no longer included. For this purpose, the marker has the AR-15 handguard adapter installed as standard. This was probably done at the request of US players, as many wanted to customize their SAR-12 with original AR-15 shrouds and other upgrade parts. Since these components are unfortunately a little harder to come by in this country, European customers will have to dig a bit far into their bag of tricks when it comes to the look.

The SAR-12 currently offers what is probably the best available base for snipers in paintball sports. The single-shot bolt principle is manually reloaded by hand, like a real sniper rifle. To do this, the bolt must be moved back and then forwards by hand using the clamping lever on the side of the marker until it audibly engages. Only then is the marker ready to fire.

Due to this bolt design, the bolt chamber is completely closed before the shot is fired, and the bolt does not have to move towards the ball for the shot. One therefore also speaks of a shot from a stationary projectile position. This makes the SAR-12 extremely precise. Players on the field are reporting shots/hits at distances of over 100 meters!

Furthermore, the SAR-12 works with a working pressure of only 550 PSI, which makes it even gentler on the paint and also significantly quieter. Anyone who plays abroad with a shooting speed of 300 FPS and shoots at targets at a distance of more than 50 meters can usually remain completely undetected, since the opponent can no longer even hear the shot of a SAR-12 from this distance.

The Generation 4 markers of the Carmatech SAR-12 model series are delivered with the new BlackJack magazines as standard. These now hold a whopping 21 shots that can be fired consecutively without gaps. The previous models (up to Gen. 3 model ranges) had 12-shot magazines with 2 separate chambers. The shooter had to remove and turn the magazine after 6 shots to be able to continue shooting. The new BlackJack magazines offer 75% more capacity and can be fired in one go. The Carmatech SAR-12 currently has the most powerful magazine of all MagFed paintball markers.

From now on (from 09/2022) the Carmatech SAR-12 will be delivered in the original Carmatech Sniper backpack. (see pictures accessories). The backpack offers space for the marker when disassembled and plenty of accessories.

- SAR-12 paintball sniper marker (Gen. IV, latest model)

- Bolt-Action System (repeating function of the bolt)

- 2x SAR-12 BlackJack magazine (each 21 shot capacity)

- 18" Carmatech NEMESIS barrel with muzzle brake (custom-made)

- Ultra light ABS housing

- 0.2 liter HP system with LP regulator (200 bar, 550 PSI out)

- Carmatech backpack for transport (delivery will be in backpack again from 09/2022. NO hardcase!)

- Cocker barrel thread

- New grip from 09/2022 (see detailed pictures)

Visor and other attachments not included, these are only available as accessories or with the SAR-12 COMPLETE or SAR-12 SUPREME.
